How To - Splitting Bills


Split by Totals

Split total by allows the current bill to be split by X number of people.


  1. Press the Other Functions or Account & Table Options button.

  2. Press the Split Total By button

  3. Select how many people to split the bill by and press the OK button

  4. The PoS will automatically print a bill for each split, and display the balance that is required to pay. If the bill has been split more than 10 ways, then it will ask if you wish to print the bill.

  5. If you wish to cancel the split, press the Split Total By button again and answer Yes to cancelling the split.

  6. The split total will display on the order display by however many it has been split.

  7. In addition if the bill cannot be split equally, the PoS will show the screen select the total of the first bill to pay screen, allowing the higher or lower amount (by 1p) to be selected.



Split Account

Split account allows the current bill to be split and have items moved on to a new account.


  1. Press the Other Functions or Account & Table Options button.

  2. Press the Split Account button

  3. The split account window will be displayed, with the original details on the right and the new split on the left.

  4. For each split a letter will be allocated starting with A.

  5. Choose the first product from the original table and select this product

  6. It will now be moved to the new A account.



  7. Continue this process until all splits are performed
  8. When viewing the table plan, a dotted line will be displayed over the table to indicate that there are multiple splits against this account.


New Split Bill

When opening a new table, there is the ability to create a split on the table prior to opening it. This can be useful if the customer has indicated they want split bills prior to commencing the order, or if it is a large booking and two or more parties wish to sit at the same table.


  1. Select the Table Plan button from the main root panel design.

  2. Press the green New Split Table button

  3. Select the occupied table

  4. Confirm by pressing the Yes button, indicating that you wish to create a new split on the table.

  5. Continue the ordering process as normal.
